A smooth oval of deep royal-blue agate, scattered with tiny gold-coloured flecks like a night sky. A gold-tone tortoise, a spiral shell and clusters of blossoms cross it, with a honey-yellow oval and a lime-green round set among them and a small green round at the foot.
About 32.5 g for the piece, roughly the weight of 5½ US quarters.

Caring for this piece
- It has a coloured finish over silver: never use silver dip or a polishing cloth, which can wear the finish away. Warm soapy water and a soft brush only.
- Put it on last, after perfume and hairspray, and take it off first. Store it lying flat so the bail and chain don't kink.
- Skip ultrasonic cleaners and steam: stone-set clusters are safest with warm soapy water, a soft brush and a thorough dry.
