A faceted pear-cut amethyst is framed by navy ovals and lilac marquises in gold-tone, with two pale blue leaf shapes and a small pink round at the bail.

Caring for this piece
- It has a coloured finish over silver: never use silver dip or a polishing cloth, which can wear the finish away. Warm soapy water and a soft brush only.
- Amethyst: Colour can fade with long exposure to strong sunlight or heat.
- Put it on last, after perfume and hairspray, and take it off first. Store it lying flat so the bail and chain don't kink.
- Skip ultrasonic cleaners and steam: stone-set clusters are safest with warm soapy water, a soft brush and a thorough dry.
